Dr. Gregory Traver, DDS
Background and Education:
I was raised in Purcellville, Virginia and spent a lot of my time in and around Winchester growing up. I went on to complete my undergraduate studies in Fairfax, Virginia at George Mason University and subsequently earned my Doctorate in Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. I received the American Academy of Periodontology recognition for outstanding achievement in Periodontics during my time at WVU. Additionally, I received the American College of Prosthodontists recognition for outstanding undergraduate achievement in the study of Prosthodontics. Lastly, I received an award from faculty for exemplary professional conduct, unsurpassed initiative, and quality in patient care.
I’m excited to be back in Winchester where I can be with family and become a part of the community once again. I am passionate about delivering quality and aesthetic care for my patients. I emphasize autonomy by educating my patients about the best treatment options available and enabling them to choose. I find dentistry very rewarding and especially cherish seeing patients enjoy their new smile after treatment.
Hobbies and interests:
One of my hobbies that drove me into dentistry is painting. I love the fine details involved in acrylic painting and it translates well into my passion for aesthetic dentistry. If I am not painting then I often find myself hiking, water skiing, and camping on weekends. I additionally love to work in the outdoors on personal projects such as driving my tractor on the weekends or doing landscaping projects.
