Answers to Common Questions about Full Mouth Dental Rehabilitation/Reconstruction
QUESTION: WHY DO I NEED FULL MOUTH REHABILITATION?
A: There are a number of reasons why you might need full mouth rehabilitation. These include replacing missing teeth as a result of cavities, trauma or gum tissue disease. Sometimes severe wear due to grinding your teeth or acid erosion means we have to rebuild what was lost. Finally improving your bite, overall function and esthetics can also be a major factor.
Q: HOW LONG DOES A FULL MOUTH REHABILITATION TAKE?
A: The timeline varies from case to case. For more simple full mouth rehabilitations, a period of 2-3 months should normally be expected. If you require more extensive treatment including implants, bone grafts, or sinus lifts, the entire treatment process can take up to 12 months. If you require extensive orthodontics first, it can be even longer. By setting up your consultation, we can go over your options and offer multiple treatment plans that take varying amounts of time.
