Dr. Oestervemb graduated as valedictorian — number 1 in his class — from the Royal Dental College, later earning a Master's degree with an emphasis on Esthetic Dentistry. His Residency and Fellowship at the University of Iowa focused on advanced procedures including oral surgery, dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation and IV sedation. He is the only dentist certified by the American Board of General Dentistry within a 50-mile radius of Winchester, and teaches other dentists implant surgery as AAID Maxi Course faculty.
Dr. DeWeerd earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry — the only dental school in the U.S. offering programs in all dental specialties. She especially enjoys working with patients who have anxiety or nervousness associated with dentistry, helping every patient feel great about their teeth and their smile.
