QUESTION: WHAT IF I AM NERVOUS/HAVE ANXIETY ABOUT HAVING A TOOTH REMOVED?

A: If you are nervous about getting your tooth extracted we offer options to help with anxiety such as laughing gas (nitrous oxide) or for more severe anxiety IV-sedation. Just let us know and we will be happy to go over your options.

QUESTION: WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS AFTER MY EXTRACTION?

A: If after an extraction you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at 540-450-2100. We offer 24/7 emergency services so if you call us after hours our answering machine will tell you what number to call to get in touch with us.

QUESTION: DO I NEED ANY PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS?

A: Once the tooth is removed we will prescribe any pain medication or antibiotics as needed. Sometimes we also prescribe steroids that will help decrease any swelling. We always recommend that after extraction you rest and take any prescribed medication.
